This is a great video by Dan Pink on what motivates us. If you think it’s money, think again. Why do people do such great unpaid work outside of their work? Purpose. Pink concludes that “when the profit motive gets unmoored from the purpose motive, bad things happen.” So how do we align the two? Or do we place too much faith in the profit motive?
